Market Study
At the initial phase, we delve into research regarding the current trends to understand the target market. This information later helps us in customizing our products to fit the requirements of the target market.
Customer needs and wants analysis
Once we have an understanding of the target market, we apply them while chalking out a plan to manufacture a seat. At this stage, we analyze customer’s requirements such as experience, functionality, convenience, reliability, etc. and ensure that they are taken into consideration.
Product Feature Selection
In the previous stage, we have a list of the customer’s requirements. At this stage, we pair their requirements with features. If the customer has asked for a premium experience, we decide on the fabric and cushion accordingly. Depending on the functionality required, the seats can be pushback or tip-up, and so on.
Each requirement is mapped to a feature, ensuring the seat fits all the descriptions the customer requested.
Conceptualize Design
The features that were decided in the previous step now must be incorporated into a seat, keeping in mind the aesthetics and ergonomics. The conceptual design must ensure the seats are functional and will provide comfort to the human body.
Detailed Product Design
At this stage, we take the seat from a concept to create a design that has all its elements accounted for, right down to the smallest attachments. The measurements for the structure are decided and laid down.
Design for manufacturing
Now that we have a highly detailed design for the structure of the seat and its elements, the design on how to process the components must be decided. The density of the cushions, to the temperature at which the plywood has to be treated to the conditions to manufacture the fabric, are all decided at this stage.

We then manufacture a prototype before stepping into the actual production.
Virtual Testing of Prototype
The sole purpose of manufacturing a prototype is to test the product for any shortcomings, be it a design flaw, material flaw, or an issue with the color of the fabric.
Analysis & Fine-tuning
With the list of all the shortcomings charted out in the previous stage, we move forward with analyzing. All the design and manufacturing decisions are looked into, and we come up with alternatives to fix the flaws.
Design Patent
Owing to the fact that we have designed and crafted the seat from scratch, we proceed with patenting the design.
Establish Foolproof Manufacturing Processes
In the previous stages, we had created a prototype, tested it, and came up with a list of changes to the design process and decisions previously set.
At this stage, a foolproof manufacturing process is charted out by incorporating the recent edits to the design and manufacturing process to the existing one. This makes sure the seats henceforth manufactured are perfect
Integrated Production System
Now that we have a tried and perfected system, we move into the large scale production of the seats.
